About Us

My photo
We are the Pomario Family and we used to live in Johannesburg, South Africa. On the 10 July 2009 at 8.05 our little family grew to 3 when our precious daughter Natalia was born. We were blessed that she had chosen us to be her parents and we were privileged to have her in our lives. We believe she is here to teach us many lessons and give us plenty of joy. We relocated to Australia in April 2011. These are our stories……

4 Scan - Come and See

Hello All
Finally, here are the much awaited 3D pictures of Natalia Pomario. We have a DVD as well with the 4D (3D in motion) pictures.
I woke up at 4am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep, that's how excited I was. Okay, and Kim's snoring made it difficult, but I lay there awake imaging what she would look like. I have also been having a lot of 'baby' dreams, some good and some bad. I finally fell asleep again and woke up suddenly at 7.30am with a shock. We had overslept and had to be at the scan at 8.30am.
Okay, so she weighs 1.1kg already. That means she has put on 350g+ in the last 2.5 weeks. Her head and femur measures that she's 29 weeks old, but I'm only 28 weeks tomorrow, so she is growing rather fast and might come earlier! I think she has Kim's full lips and my nose, although her nose looks rather big here, its probably smaller than it looks. She is lying from left to right - her head is on my left side and her legs to the right. She is rather active, puching and kicking al ot and has had 2 episodes of hiccuping so far this week.

I am now in my 3rd trimester, wow, how time has flown. Loren bought me a book for my birthday, What to Expect in the 1st Year, which I am reading religiously. There is so much to do when she arrives and I want to be sort of prepared. I know there's no such thing and a book can't give hands on experience. But, I am happy to have been around when Malakai was born so it won't be totally foreign when she arrives. I do however count on a lot of 'experienced' people around me for support and guidance. Loren, first and foremost, my Mom, Sheila and of course my dear Aunt Doreen who lives very close by.
Kim and I feel really blessed
Lots of Love from both of US

25.4 Week Check-Up

Hello everyone

Went for my check-up today, but I was very sad to go alone as Kim was in Botswana and will only be home later this afternoon :(

Anyway, had a quick consultation, didn't even get any pictures :( The doctor says that her head is a bit big for her age but its nothing to worry about. She weighs 768g and has a good heart rate. Seriously, it was a quick consultation.

She has really become busy as well. Kim has started calling me a soccer mom because that's what my belly has become. The movement is great, even when I wake up at all hours of the morning because she's wide awake having a ball in my belly.

Kim and I go for our 4D Scan on the 24 April. Cant wait for that. The detail is really awesome...... I hope she's in a good position so we can get some good pics.

Love Leigh
